Mother’s day is around the corner, and we should celebrate all the mommas in our life! Every year, I am always in search of the perfect gift for my mom. She has such amazing taste and has definitely some fantastic items already in her closet. My go-to is always Nordstrom. They have a range of items for anyone’s likes and needs. Below are a few items from their site that I felt were perfect options for any and every mom out there.
Since it’s spring, I leaned toward pastels, florals, and soft elegance. My favorite is the floral robe. My mom loves pajamas, so something cozy for her to hang around in is perfect. I also loved the tassel earrings. For a mom that loves a pop and to spice up an outfit with accessories, tassel earrings are the perfect piece for her. There is always options for the home lover too, with the Voluspa candle or a cute decorative pillow specially personalized for mom and the day.
Not on the list is athletic wear, which is the perfect gift for a mom that is active and likes to get outside. With warmer weather coming, there are always fun, bright colors in workout leggings and tanks that are great additions to a mom’s workout attire. These items here and here are amazing options!
Celebrate your mom this year with an item that she will love! Happy mother’s day to all the moms out there!
These goodies above are a cute and simple way to incorporate your love for mermaids into your home, heart, and life! Sport a shell shaped bikini on the beach, or send out thank you cards with a detailed fin on the paper. These items make great gifts for your friends or yourself!
Since the holidays have been over, I’ve been dying to give my place a fresher look. I’ve been rapidly burning all of my Christmas candles and switching from snowmen to vases and flowers. However, it can get tricky trying to decide what to switch out and even find the items you are looking for, but I have the solution for you! This post is in paid partnership with Furniture.com.
When it comes to freshening up your space for a new season, I am all about switching up home décor and certain furnishings to add a new feel. Decorative pillows and blankets are an easy way to make a space feel fresh and like a new home. They are fairly inexpensive and can be changed as you go. I also will go and buy fresh lavender candles in bulk because the scent is so clean and will go perfectly at any time (even if it still looks like winter out.) Add a fresh new rug with vibrant colors or soft neutrals, a few large glass pieces, new bedding, and even accent tables, and your home will feel brand new!
The only problem is that I can never find everything in one place. I always have to travel all over to find exactly what I am looking for, but now I have finally found the solution.Furniture.comoffers you the ability to find everything you need to spruce up your home for the new season in one place. Browse the type of room you’re looking to decorate, the mattress tab, and even my favorite, the home décor tab, to find items that you’ll need. Furniture.com will redirect you to the website to place your order, and you are on your way!
If you are looking for a bargain, like I always am, their new find local sales finder will locate stores in your area that are currently having a sale in what you’re looking for! It’s an easy and fast way to purchase everything you need to redecorate in one place and at home from the comfort of your own couch!

In need of a last minute gift? Does he or she love home decor? Above are some easy gifts to pick up (or get delivered) for that special person in your life! With the holidays starting this weekend, these picks are guaranteed to make them happy this jolly season! They all range in price, but you are sure to find something in your budget!
For many of you who have gotten to know me thus far, I am obsessed with home decor! My passion started just several months ago. Some days I will spend hours in Marshalls, Target, or Homegoods browsing the decor, bedding, or furniture, getting ideas for my room and apartment. Since the holidays are coming up very soon, I wanted to share some of my decor with you!
This was the first year I decorated with a tree! I decided to take the plunge and get a tree, not for the specific holiday or religious purpose, but because I love the warmth and look that they give the entire room. The holidays scream family, and what is better than decorating and getting a tree with your family?!
I got a great deal on a 6ft. tree from Target for $13.50. My theme was gold and bronze to stay neutral and go with the rest of my decor. I got a pack of fifty shatter-proof ornaments. I added on some glitter snowflakes, a few glass individual ones, and some meaningful ornaments like the Eiffel Tower and the “Our First Christmas Ornament” for me and my boyfriend. Instead of lights, I opted to add reflective garland and gold beads from Michael’s craft store, and topped the tree off with a gold, glitter ribbon.
I went on to purchase the white, fuzzy tree skirt from Marshalls, as well as the gold, scented reindeer. Candles have also been a must. If you are looking for reasonable, yet great quality candles, Marshalls and Homegoods will be your place to check out.
Fall is here, and Halloween is around the corner! Regardless, it is the season of warm pumpkin scents, candles, candy corn, and cozy blankets. It can be hard decorating practically, especially on a budget. The key is to pick items that are reusable every year, interchangeable, and can be used all year round! Below is my latest video one how I decorated my apartment for the season, along with a few inspiration pictures from my Pinterest board !
Most of my vases and bedroom decor is maintained throughout the whole year, along with candles, but I tend to remove the pumpkin decorations and keep them for the next year! My decor is from Homegoods, Marshalls, TJ Max, Michael’s, and Target.
These are my inspirations for my future home! I love how non-traditional the pieces are, using white pumpkins instead of orange, giving a rustic vibe to your home. Candles are an essential with the colder months on their way. If you have a porch or front deck, I recommend having fun and adding barrels of hay, pumpkins, and fall wreaths to the mix.
Marble seems to be everywhere lately. It is no longer what you see in your parent’s bathroom or the counter of an upscale kitchen. The marble aesthetic is a huge trend for accessories, home decor, and even clothing!
Most of these items can be found in stores, such as Marshalls, Homegoods, Target, Urban Outfitters, Amazon and more! Classic pieces like these can spruce up any bedroom, dorm, outfit, even computer!
My notebook above is from Homegoods, my computer case is from Amazon, and phone case is from Amazon.
