Since the holidays have been over, I’ve been dying to give my place a fresher look. I’ve been rapidly burning all of my Christmas candles and switching from snowmen to vases and flowers. However, it can get tricky trying to decide what to switch out and even find the items you are looking for, but I have the solution for you! This post is in paid partnership with Furniture.com.
When it comes to freshening up your space for a new season, I am all about switching up home décor and certain furnishings to add a new feel. Decorative pillows and blankets are an easy way to make a space feel fresh and like a new home. They are fairly inexpensive and can be changed as you go. I also will go and buy fresh lavender candles in bulk because the scent is so clean and will go perfectly at any time (even if it still looks like winter out.) Add a fresh new rug with vibrant colors or soft neutrals, a few large glass pieces, new bedding, and even accent tables, and your home will feel brand new!
The only problem is that I can never find everything in one place. I always have to travel all over to find exactly what I am looking for, but now I have finally found the solution. Furniture.com offers you the ability to find everything you need to spruce up your home for the new season in one place. Browse the type of room you’re looking to decorate, the mattress tab, and even my favorite, the home décor tab, to find items that you’ll need. Furniture.com will redirect you to the website to place your order, and you are on your way!
If you are looking for a bargain, like I always am, their new find local sales finder will locate stores in your area that are currently having a sale in what you’re looking for! It’s an easy and fast way to purchase everything you need to redecorate in one place and at home from the comfort of your own couch!
I have already found pieces of wall décor and decorative pillows I am ready to purchase, so I can make my apartment feel like spring, even if it is only mid-winter.
Check out Furniture.com today to find items and sales that you have been looking for!
Happy home shopping!
It is been a hot minute since I have filmed a video. Getting settled into school has been hard, but I am finally back and will be filming as regularly as possible!
Since fall is officially here, meaning the weather is matching the season, we can finally wear our fave fall makeup looks.
This everyday makeup tutorial is the perfect and simple look to sport for class, a meeting, errands, lunch, dinner, or even a nice event or formal. Maybe even homecoming?!
Below are some of my fave shades that you can use to recreate this look or other fall makeup looks.
The palette I used in this tutorial is the Anastasia of Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. (Sold at Sephora and Ulta)
Back to school is here! And although I am bittersweet and anxious about the new academic year to start, it is time to face reality and plan this year’s series of fashionable weeks!
Since fall doesn’t officially arrive until the end of September, we will still be forced to wear cooler clothes for the classroom heat. But that’s not a problem! We can still look back to school ready, while keeping up with the summer weather.
For the first day and first few weeks, a simple striped tee and shorts are a must. You can spruce it up with your favorite adidas, converse, hair and new backpack. My small black bag is perfect for any necessary school items. The long straps allow for shoulder comfort and the distressed material adds a vintage style! I got mine at Marshalls, but there are similar ones here and here.
Whatever your back to school look may be, have an excellent beginning of the year!
Athleisure will be your new life saver and go to trend! The easy laid back feel, brings classic athletic apparel with chic in closet pieces and makes it easy and ready to wear. This has been a go to look for me on days where I want to be athletic and comfortable, without compromising my style. Below are a few looks that have inspired me to go athleisure!
The key to this look is a good pair of sneakers. I recommend either Nike or Adidas because their shoes are fitted to style, comfort, and fitness. A leather jacket, workout leggings, and easy tee will also get you the simple look!
Get inspired through everyday street style! It’s the way I find new looks to try!
Let me know if you would like to see a post of my athleisure look! I can post that soon!
I have been obsessed with skincare lately, especially since it is summer and I am not afraid to go “bare face” most days! It is super important to take care of and maintain your skin’s natural balance. Here are just a few tips to making sure your skin stays healthy and beautiful!
1.) Eat Healthy and Drink Plenty of Water
I have to say that I struggle with drinking enough water, even in the summer. But try to take a water bottle everywhere you go and a healthy snack! This will keep your energy up and skin glowing.
Your skin can get super dry in the summer, especially from sitting out catching those rays. Make sure to hydrate your skin with a soothing moisturizer. My favorite is the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Gel Moisturizer. (Hint: It smells like cucumber melon… Yummy!)
3.) Wear Sunscreen
I don’t even need to explain this one. Just. Do It.
4.) Make Sure To Remove Your Makeup Properly
Sounds like a lot of work, but it’ll save you the trouble of extra breakouts. I just uploaded a tutorial on how I do it! Go Watch!!
5.) Get Plenty of Rest
Sleep isn’t just good for the body, but it is also good for the mind, soul, and skin! Getting plenty of rest will replenish your skin and prevent dark under eye circles from forming! A good 8 hours is enough!

I am all for trying out new trends and styles. I am also always wanting to put pieces together that some may question. Pairing a pair of ripped, distressed denim with such a feminine classic, blush colored blouse is what I am all about. Don’t question it; learn from it!
I am wearing a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans. However, I rolled up the cuffs to give the look more of a shape. I also decided to pair a sheer, blush colored blouse with a bow near the neck. The blouse is such a soft color, but would look lovely on all skin tones. Since I was in the park, I wore an easy pair of sandals, but prior, I wore a pair of nude studded flats. I also wore my Tory Burch tote to tie the look together.
I love this mashed up look. The jeans were definitely an unexpected twist, but that is what style is all about. They added comfort with a cool, cute edge. It was combining a girly look with a slight “boyfriend” feel.
Try out the unexpected! Sometimes the best outfits come from pieces you’d least expect being paired together.
