Grace and Stella Co. recently sent me a new product of their’s to try out, and I was super excited. I am all about hydrating the skin and making it look its best, especially in the summer. My skin tends to be the driest with being in the sun all day and working out constantly. They gifted me their Organic Shea Butter Lotion, which was going to fit my needs perfectly. All products featured in this post was gifted by Grace and Stella.
The Shea Butter Lotion comes in a 16 oz bottle. The packaging is simple with light purple detail and a cute quote that says “You’re my butter half.” The pump makes applying the product easy and quick, and the overall size of the bottle makes storing the product easy and looks adorable in any bedroom or bathroom setting. I am so in love with its soft scent. It is light and not over powering, so you won’t feel overwhelmed and on a verge of a headache like many other body lotions.
What I love most about this product is how light and non-greasy it feels. The formula is thinner than other typical lotions, which once applied to the skin, soaks in, giving you the best hydration. I always apply it after my shower, and I never once feel sticky or like I need another shower. The product is 100% pure and refined, giving your skin the best and most natural results.
Since using this product, I have noticed such a difference in my skin. My legs are no longer flaky and dry. It preserves my natural tan and even enhances it, giving me a natural glow. The product doesn’t just sit on top of the skin, but soaks in to the deepest layer, giving you the most amazing, natural hydrated feeling!
I would definitely recommend this product! It is only $14.95, and since the 4th of July is around the corner, Grace and Stella is offering up to 70% off their products from June 30 to July 5! In addition, they have given me an exclusive coupon code just for my viewers to get and addition discount!
Check out the product! I hope you love it as much as I do!
I have officially found my favorite face masks, and they are the Sephora Sheet Masks. I am so incredibly behind on the obsession, but my love for these are real.
I was actually very nervous to try these the first time around because I am always fearful that new products will break me out. My skin is on the sensitive side at times, and I didn’t feel like having to deal with the consequences if things didn’t go as planned. However, I took the plunge and boy, was I glad I did.
The first mask I tried was the pearl eye mask. I had been running off of a busy twelve hour day with makeup that was slowly melting off of my face. I hopped in the shower, cleansed, toned, and placed these babies underneath my eyes and was ready for the magic to happen. I left them on for the required amount of time, and when I went to remove them, my under eyes felt so hydrated and refreshed. I patted in the rest of the liquid heaven under my eyes and went to sleep to wake up to diminished dryness and puffiness.
I decided to try the orchid face mask a few days later and was equally pleased. Even though I looked like a character out of the film Halloween, I was in love with the outcome. The next day my skin was no longer dry or peeling, and it felt softer than before.
These masks range from $5-$6 and are an affordable way to enjoy the luxury of a sheet mask.
Sephora Sheet Masks
Definitely try these masks out! They can be found at all Sephora retailers in store and online. They are the perfect gift and stocking stuffer for this holiday!

Skincare can be hard to come by. There are so many different products on the market to choose from that it can be difficult to decide whether to go the drug store or the higher end route. One thing is for sure, removing your makeup properly and taking care of your skin is SO SO SO IMPORTANT! I cannot stress that enough.
So many girls and guys neglect to remove their makeup at the end of the day because they are too tired or it will take too long. But sleeping with your makeup on is just plain disgusting. Your skin will be screaming to let it breath because it is trapped under all that dirt, pollution and makeup from the entire day.
My makeup removal routine is super simple, and so can yours. Usually I’ll hop in the shower and do the cleansing there, that way I can shave and wash my hair simultaneously. I use a few select products (some drugstore and some high end) to break down the makeup, remove, cleanse, tone, and moisturize. Those are the steps you should also be taking to ensure your skin is able to breath and is clean at the end of the day.
Even if you do not wear makeup, the amount of dirt present on the skin and pores, is much greater than one may think. Take the time to cleanse and remove any left over makeup from the day. You only have one skin. Take care of it.

Neutrogena Grapefruit Scrub
Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner
Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Eye Cream
I’ve constantly revised my face products and foundation routine over the years and never stick to the same product for more than a month. However, at the moment, I have found a combination that works with my combination skin and provides moisture and oil control during these odd winter months.
- I always prep with my Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer. It has SPF and is a moisturizer that actual works for me and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy under makeup.
- I’ll spray some Fix Plus, to freshen and add a bit more moisture to the skin, and to fill in pores and create a smooth canvas, I use my Makeup Forever Step One Smoothing Primer.
- For foundation, I’ll apply a complete layer of my Makeup Forever HD Foundation with a beauty sponge. The concealer I use is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, and I set it with my Makeup Forever HD Powder.
- To add color, I use my favorite drug store bronzer, which is the NYC Mosaic Bronzing Powder. And for blush, I go in with Tarte’s 12 hour Blush in Dollface.

Some may say beauty is only skin deep, but they do not understand the half of it. Think about it, the first thing people notice when looking at you is your skin. So why can’t we all have perfection? Biologically, everyone’s skin is different. Some are blessed with the beautifully, flawless skin seen on models. Others, struggle with acne and other blemishes. Being a struggler of acne myself, I know how hard it is to have clear skin one day and be pimple-faced the next. It’s difficult, especially since makeup becomes my savior. However, it shouldn’t be! I’ve finally learned that clean, healthy skin is more important than perfection. Taking extra steps, such as moisturizing or cleansing daily, can do wonders. I always say happy skin means a happy person. But if it’s not that easy for you, and you need a little more attention for the problem areas, have no fear and see a dermatologist! They are the experts, not you! Do not spend money on products that you have no idea if they will work or not! Take action and make it happen! There is always a solution, and you will feel happier and more confident knowing that you are taking steps to healthier skin.
Over the years, I have collected acne and skin products regularly. I have a regimen that works for me and that I’d love to share with you! I wash my face about 3 or 4 times a day, probably not the best thing for my skin, but it’s my routine. I am a huge advocate for Neutrogena products, considering they actually work and are reputable. I use their oil-free grapefruit face wash, along with the scrub. I also use their oil-free moisturizer for sensitive skin, along with and eye creme, since my skin is really dry! I also use Proactive on a daily basis and recommend it for people with cystic acne. Finally, at night, I use my ointments prescribed by my dermatologist, which help with major problem areas.
Healthy skin is happy skin! Taking extra steps to help unwanted blemishes or acne could pay off in the long run and make you feel happier! Always feel confident in your own skin, and don’t be afraid to wear no makeup! You are beautiful either way!
Until Next time 🙂
