Bring on the pumpkin spice please! Now that it is the end of September, it finally feels like fall! Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons. From cozy sweaters to chic booties, below are a few of my must haves for the season!
- Madewell Patch Pocket Pullover Sweater
- Madewell Starry Night Chenille Scarf
- Gorjana Laguna Adjustable Lariat Necklace
- Jo Malone London Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne
- Brixton Fiddler Cap
- Marc Fisher Yale Chelsea Boot
- Topshop Sallie Tortoiseshell Handle Tote
- Topshop Black Ripped Jamie Jeans
For fall, I always tend to lean towards copper and pumpkin colored sweaters. They pair well with the crisp weather and are extremely flattering on all skin tones. Another major staple in my closet for fall is black denim. I prefer if they are ripped because it adds an edgier feel, but the pair goes with nearly anything.
For accessories, I am absolutely obsessed with hats. The fiddler hat pairs perfect with every outfit for every occasion. But it wouldn’t be the season without comfy scarves and fun booties. I am in love with this star one from Madewell, which adds the perfect pop of color and pattern. I am also obsessed with these Marc Fisher booties. The pointed toe with a metal embellishment is a modern take on a classic style. This mustard color Topshop bag also caught my eye! It’s so chic, but has a unique twist with the turtle handle and side strap. Large totes are a must for the season to carry all of your necessities, and this one does the trick perfectly. Finish off any fall look with a long lariat necklace and a spritz of your favorite warm fragrance, and you are fall ready!
I hope these pieces inspire you to break out your fall wardrobe and enjoy a pumpkin spice latte!
Back-to-school has officially begun, and that means a new year, new style, and new you! I teamed up with Zaful to show you how you can wear some of their cute fall pieces for an awesome back-to-school look! All products featured in this post was gifted by Zaful.
Top: Zaful Pants: Joe’s Jeans Shoes: Steve Madden Necklace: Zaful Bag: Tory Burch
This was my first time wearing anything of Zaful’s, and I fell in love instantly. Their Loose One Shoulder Sweater falls gracefully off the shoulder and fits slightly baggy to add comfort. I paired it with a pair of plain, cropped dark denim, slides, and their Copper Sequin Choker Necklace. The choker can fit snug or loose around the neck and is durable enough to wear everyday. (It’s also a mock of the Lana Jewelry found at Nordstrom!)
Top: Zaful Pants: Joe’s Jeans Shoes: Halogen
I’m in love with ruffle blouses, and when I saw the Dip Hem Ruffle Stripe Blouse from Zaful, I was so excited. The blouse fits true to size and has two silver button detailing on the shoulder. The ruffles fall perfectly over the chest and goes great with my cropped, dark denim and these black slide loafers. It was an easy, but sophisticated outfit.
I hope this inspired you to check out Zaful for the best back-to-school looks!
The #NSale is back and better than ever! It’s the time of year where lovers of fashion and all things Nordstrom can get a peek into fall’s must haves and purchase it at some of the best prices around. Brands like Tory Burch, Sam Edelman, Touche, Astr, BP and more are on sale for great amazing prices.
The sale opened to the public Friday July 22nd, and I ran to my closest Nordstrom at 10 am to get everything that I was eyeing and more. I purchased quite a few fall staples that I will definitely be sporting on the cooler days of fall and winter. All products are listed with links to the website. The only thing not on sale I purchased was the Articles of Society denim. But for $64, I thought these were a steal considering other denim in the store were over $100 on sale. I’m also picky with jeans, so when I tried these on and fell in love, I knew I needed to grab them!

The sale ends August 8th. Prices will go back up to their normal retail range and will stay until they go on sale. Don’t wait until then! Go online today or in store and check out the pieces a part of the #NSale!
I have also been informed that some pieces that have sold out in the sale have been restocked, so definitely stay tuned and keep checking in.
It has been so long since I have done one of these blog posts! Gosh, I miss the traditional blogs I used to do! I promise, I will be doing them more often! I actually did not even think I would be posting a blog today. My original plan was to take a picture of my #OOTD for Instagram and advertise my latest YouTube videos. But after seeing the photos my bf took of me on his IPhone, I knew these had to be for more than just Insta. It is actually perfect timing too because the first Primark store in the U.S. opened up near me, and I couldn’t be more excited. So why not talk about the mania it is causing?!
Back on topic, I went yesterday (the second day of it being open) hesitant to what I would find. I did not know the store very well, just that the prices are nearly too good to be true. IT WAS MAGICAL! There are four floors that include women’s and men’s clothing, a kids section, shoes, accessories, home, lingerie, pajamas and plenty more that I probably didn’t see. I was quite overwhelmed to say the least. But after giving a pep talk, and pushing my way through the crowds, I was pleased by what I found. The styles are very up to date with trends we are seeing for this fall: simple, chunky sweaters, blanket scarves, chambray, suede, and ripped denim. They offer a variety of colors and sizes and the prices are to die for. I purchased two items: a checkered chambray blouse and this long blush sweater. I am so in love with this sweater! It is the comfiest thing I own and so versatile! Talk about being a beautiful color too!
For this cool, crisp saturday, I paired it with some ripped denim, a sleeveless, white blouse, some flat sandals and my favorite reversible bag. It made for an easy and cozy pairing!
For a girl who is a newbie to Primark, I am pleasantly surprised and very happy with the new style department store.
Until next time!

Beautiful fall days make me reminisce of times when I was a child and playing in the garden. The flowers and petals, bushes and foliage make me feel right at home in the city. Today’s fall look was perfect for a day spent with the calmness of sweet grass and large oaks.
I am wearing a gray, knit sweater with a high/low hem. I paired it with a pair of olive, coated denim and added a leopard scarf. I wore a nice pair of chestnut riding boots (my favorite) and finished the look with a wide brim black hat, and my Tory Burch tote!
This look is so easy and casual! The weather was perfectly crisp, so luckily I didn’t need a heavy coat! Also, coated denim is probably my favorite for this fall! They are very comfy jeans, but have a little extra flare, almost like leather.
Make a day to spend outside with beautiful trees or flowers! Soon it’ll be winter, and all there will be is the crisp, white snow.

With all of these gloomy days, I have spent my time stuck inside trying to find something to do. My main task: organizing my clothes and shoes. But just because I was stuck inside does not mean that I don’t have my style game going!
On these rainy days, I usually like to bundle up and keep extra cozy. I am wearing a long sweater length dress with faux leather detailing. I paired a cranberry pair of cotton leggings, changing up the look, as well as added a black and white checkered scarf. Rain boots were a must, especially with my black Hunters. Accessories were kept limited with only a bracelet and studs.
A black sweater is a necessary staple piece, especially for this fall. This shirt is so comfy, but still has that “put together” look. The leggings add a nice untraditional flare, since all black would have just been boring. I also recommend investing in a pair of wellies! Whether they are Hunters or another brand, in this weather they are a must to keeping your feet dry!
On these rainy days, do not forget to dress fabulous, while still feeling comfortable!

Sweater weather really is better weather! I know many of you want warm weather to arrive, but let’s take advantage of the last moments that we will be able to cozy up in comfy sweaters! However, I am not talking about just any ordinary sweater. We have to spice things up a bit now that we are slowly moving toward spring…
So, what is this certain thing that will challenge any plain, old sweater? It’s open backs of course! I am wearing a ballet pink over-sized sweater with metallic rose gold stitching and a very low, plunging back. It ties at the top with some adorable satin ribbon to add another girly touch! I paired it with a simple pair of black leggings, some chestnut riding boots, and a leopard scarf! I also wore my hair in a high sock bun, in order to show off the surprise from the back!
I have said it numerous times, but open backs really are my favorite! It’s an easy way to change up your style without showing off too much skin! Since a sweater is typically plain, the open back adds an unexpected surprise when your walking down the street! I love how the leopard scarf pulls out hits of browns in the knit sweater without overpowering the entire look!
To help with undergarments, I wore a backless bra from Victoria Secret! This one has sticky sides and is perfect for any open back or backless shirt or dress! Target also sells them, but for inexpensive prices! I recommend both places!
So to finish off the winter months, try something a little different! Wear an open back shirt or dress according to the weather! It will slowly transition you to spring in no time!

I have a love hate relationship with winter! I hate the snow and the cold, but I love layering and wearing my favorite knits! It’s a battle I’ll never win living in New England. With the winter months dragging on, I am here to take adventures… through the world of style of course! 😉
Today I wanted to feel put together and chic. I did not care if I was comfy or not! I wanted to strut my stuff and dress to impress! With a hair appointment and errands to run (Valentines day around the corner) I was ready! Instead of wearing jeans today, I threw on a pair of casual high-waisted black trousers. They have a draw string waist and zipped up pockets. To make them less “formal,” I tucked in a plain white cami and layered over a wool, black and white knit cardigan. Adding warmth, I wore my fave burgundy fringe scarf and my favorite heel booties!
This outfit took me two minutes to put together in my head! It is so easy and has the ability to look different every time you wear it! The pants are also a must for girls who do not like the tightness of jeans, but want a comfy “legging” feel.
I have also been getting many compliments on my eyebrows, which I will do a post on soon!

I am definitely not one who is afraid to be bold and a little crazy, especially with my fashion. Marilyn Monroe once said, “I’d rather be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.” Fashion is about wearing things that make you feel happy, comfortable, and confident. If that means layering on polka dots, then so be it!
I wanted to go for a more comfy, relaxed look. This is perfect if you’re running errands, doing homework, or just feeling lazy! My leggings are very similar to a pair I wore in my previous blog. They are knit with black polka dots. They cut off right at the ankle, which are perfect to wear with boots. I then layered my sweater with the “Pardon my French” logo, which adds a cute silly touch and combined it with a jean jacket for ease and warmth. I finished off the look with my short, spiked boots, a white enamel watch, and my hair pulled half up in a clip.
I am in love with these type of leggings! I love how you can dress them up or down, or even sleep in them! They are the perfect purchase and super cheap!
Change it up and be adventurous! Pair a crazy pair of leggings with a silly sweater and you are ready for any time of day!

I am always looking for new ways to spice up my wardrobe. Instead of buying new pieces of clothing, I’ve found I can take the pieces I already have and change them up depending on the day. One thing that I’ve tried and absolutely love is the sweater and dress combo. Surprisingly, layering a big comfy sweater over a short dress can add a new look to your closet!
The dress I am wearing is my cranberry shirt dress with 3/4 sleeves, which I wore in my previous boho chic post. I then layered my black and white oversized sweater with zipper shoulder detailing. The reason this particular sweater works with the dress is because it is longer in the back and shorter in the front. This allows the look to blend better when it is on your body! I wore my plain, black opaque tights, chestnut brown riding boots, and threw on a black scarf just to keep warm!
The look is a lot of fun to put together because you can mix and match pretty much any sweater to any dress in your closet and have a put together look for any occasion.
Try it out! Add your own personal touches too! The look will soon be your go to outfit for any day!
